What is VDF Flooring?
VDF (Vacuum Dewatered Flooring) is an advanced concrete floor construction method where excess water is mechanically extracted from freshly poured concrete using vacuum dewatering mats. This process significantly reduces the water-cement ratio, resulting in a denser, harder and more durable floor surface.
After vacuum dewatering, the surface is levelled using a laser screed machine to achieve precise flatness tolerances, then finished with ride-on power trowels to create a smooth, hard, dust-resistant surface.
